Records going for a good deal less than comparable copies cost. Every saving is measured against the same format, condition and edition, so a used 7 inch is never counted as a discount on a new LP, and a standard repress is never measured against a deluxe.

How these are worked out: every copy of a record is sorted into a group by format and condition, so new LPs are compared with new LPs and never with a used 7 inch or a box set. A record only appears here when its group holds at least 6 comparable copies of the same edition from at least 5 different shops, and the cheapest is between 20% and 60% below the group's typical price. Bigger discounts than that are almost always a mispriced or mismatched listing rather than a bargain, so they are left out. Listings not seen for 14 days are ignored. Prices exclude postage and change often, so check the shop before buying.
